James
Kochalka Rocks the West Coast
From 5:00 p.m. to
7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2001 in Berkeley, California, James Kochalka
Superstar, author of the 2001 Harvey Awards nominated graphic novel Monkey
Vs. Robot (as well as the man behind the Monkey Vs. Robot CD) will give
his first ever west-coast rock performance. It will be an intimate acoustic
show, at one of America's finest comic book stores, Comic
Relief. Yes, just the stunning clear beauty of James' voice, subtly
reinforced by the gentle tones of Pistol Stamen's masterful acoustic guitar
playing, while all around you, Kochalka's many books sit on the shelves.
Not a night to be missed, it will surely be a fond memory for years to
come for the lucky few who live close enough to attend.
